After creating my double page spreads, I attempted to save my files as pdf's, and also searched for file converters with no luck, Because I used a trial version of the software i was unable to open it at university either. My submitted disk contains the original indesign file. I shall also blog screenshots of my designs.
Type Hierarchy
During this task I took a page from a newspaper, and cut out each individual typographic element. I then ordered them from what I first looked at to what I looked at last. This allowed me to analyze both the layout of the newspaper, and the type and colour scheme used.
Quick Brown Fox Task - Type Hierarchies
Using the knowledge gained from the newspaper task, I created multiple typographic hierarchies using the phrase 'The Quick Brown Fox', using different font styles: Block, Gothic, Roman and Script. I experimented with size and layout, attempting to keep the flow of text from the through to fox each time.
